{"id":15711,"date":"2025-09-11T10:24:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T10:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/15711\/"},"modified":"2025-09-11T10:24:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T10:24:09","slug":"two-arrested-after-investigation-into-auckland-cash-van-robbery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/15711\/","title":{"rendered":"Two arrested after investigation into Auckland cash van robbery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  [&amp;_p]:tit-sub-xl tit-sub-xl md:[&amp;_p]:d-tit-sub-xl md:d-tit-sub-xl mb-[1.3rem]\">Two people have been arrested after a five month investigation into a cash-in-transit vehicle robbery at Sylvia Park in Auckland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">Police said the investigation began after $210,000 was allegedly taken when a firearm was presented at security guards on April 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">Around the time, police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1news.co.nz\/2025\/04\/09\/security-staff-robbed-of-cash-at-gunpoint-at-aucklands-sylvia-park\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">located a vehicle<\/a> on fire which was believed to have been used to flee from the shopping centre.
