Mr. Whatsit is the imaginary friend of Holly Wheeler, the younger sister of Mike and Nancy Wheeler. Despite what her mother or teacher says, she\u2019s quite adamant about believing the person is real. Naturally, the siblings got tense after Holly was taken to the upside-down by the demogorgons. Revealing what the imaginary friend looks like, Karen Wheeler said Whatsit is a tall man, with a hat and a pocket watch \u2013 who is kind and gentle. Mr. Whatsit is not visible to others, except Holly Wheeler. He waved at her, without revealing his face.
