Another added: \u201cPeter Kay is killing it yet again, so funny.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many viewers said they had long noticed Ms Deeley\u2019s verbal interjections, and appeared relieved a guest had confronted what they saw as an irritating habit. <\/p>\n<p>The moment also sparked wider discussion about presenting styles on daytime television.<\/p>\n<p>The interview included another tense exchange when Ms Deeley attempted to introduce a topic about Billy Joel. After asking: \u201cCan we talk about Billy Joel?\u201d, she immediately continued: \u201cBecause weren\u2019t you in Ireland and you went to go and see him and was it your dad who is a big Billy Joel fan?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Kay responded sharply: \u201cWhy don\u2019t you just tell it?
