Seth Meyers turned the Thanksgiving episode of his late-night talk show into a fun family affair.<\/p>\n
The “Late Night with Seth Meyers” host, 51, invited multiple members of the Meyers clan<\/a> to chat with him in the studio. But it was his three kids<\/a> \u2014 sons Ashe, 9, and Axel, 7, and daughter Adelaide, 4\u2014\u00a0who stole the show.<\/p>\n Meyers, who shares his kids with wife Alexi Ashe, explained that he brought his sons and daughter to the studio to shoot a photo for the family’s annual Christmas card. Afterward, in a surprise twist, he sat them on the couch where crew members “put mics on them” for an impromptu interview in front of his studio audience.<\/p>\n Meyers then aired the video of his chat with his kids, which kicked off with an easy question that quickly went off the rails.<\/p>\n “Ashe, what did you guys dress up like this year? It\u2019s always a themed photo,” Meyers asked his older son.<\/p>\n “We were ‘Elf,” Ashe responded.<\/p>\n “From the movie ‘Elf?'” his dad prompted.<\/p>\n “And I was alphabet,” Adelaide chimed in.<\/p>\n “You were Alphabet?” Meyers asked his daughter.<\/p>\n “No she wasn\u2019t,” Axel interjected, adding, “I was ‘Elf.'” <\/p>\n As Adelaide continued insisting she was “Alphabet,” Ashe revealed he dressed as Mr. Narwhal from “Elf.”<\/p>\n “What was Addie really?” Meyers asked in a stage whisper to his sons.<\/p>\n “She was, like, my girlfriend. Remember in the movie?” Axel said, apparently referring to Josie, Buddy the Elf\u2019s girlfriend played by Zooey Deschanel in the 2003 holiday classic.<\/p>\n “And Agnes was a tomato!” Adelaide shouted.<\/p>\n “Oh OK. I gotcha. Your cousin Agnes was a tomato? That’s great,” Meyers responded with a side-eye to the audience.<\/p>\n Adelaide continued putting her own hilarious spin on her dad’s question. When Meyers asked his kids how they traveled to the studio, Ashe and Axel said they arrived in a car. But not Adelaide.<\/p>\n The 4-year-old explained she took the subway by herself, which prompted laughter from the audience and her dad.<\/p>\n “Addie, did you like the subway?” Meyers asked.<\/p>\n “Yeah, the subway smelled like diarrhea,” his little girl replied.<\/p>\n Next, Meyers asked his sons to re-live what caused a fight to break out between them when they attended a recent Pittsburgh Steelers game.<\/p>\n Ashe explained his little brother “smacked” him in the face with a towel. “So then I punched him here,\u201d he said aiming his fist at Axel’s cheek.<\/p>\n Axel then leapt in front of Ashe with his fists up to show how he responded by pummeling his brother, but Meyers shut him down saying, “No! No!”<\/p>\n Meyers then got Adelaide talking about her brothers’ best attributes before asking if she loved them.<\/p>\n “I love this one,\u201d she said, embracing Ashe. \u201cBut not that one!\u201d she added, poking Axel, who rubbed his cheeks to mime crying.<\/p>\n After the kids talked a bit about school, “Peppa Pig” and took a couple dance breaks, Meyers thanked them for stopping by.<\/p>\n \u201cIs my time over?\u201d Axel yelled. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s running out, yeah,” Meyers replied.<\/p>\n Adelaide concluded by leading her brothers into chants of “No! No!
