Actor Rahman opened up about Mammootty\u2019s comeback to films, saying that when he first heard about the superstar taking a break from movies, he could not process it immediately. \u201cI see him as my brother, so I could not process it. Now I am very happy that he has come back,\u201d Rahman told Onmanorama at Manorama Hortus.<\/p>\n
He said that he was emotionally very low when he first heard about Mammootty\u2019s health issues months ago. \u201cI was almost in tears. It\u2019s not like we talk over the phone daily or meet often, but he has always been like a brother figure to me. We have acted in so many movies together,\u201d Rahman added.<\/p>\n
The actor also credited Mammootty\u2019s fans for his return. \u201cMammootty has come back because of the prayers of his fans. Over the years, he is someone who has not garnered any haters, and people have only grown to love him. He should live for long,\u201d Rahman said.<\/p>\n
