While some people are already decorating their trees and hanging their stockings, Sydney Sweeney<\/a> is clearly still in the Halloween spirit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Thanksgiving this past week, the Euphoria star<\/a> hosted a special Friendsgiving event, where she put a twist on the typically food-focused gathering by having all of her friends dress up in Shrek<\/a> costumes.<\/p>\n

Within the castle-like venue, Sweeney transformed into the character of Dragon, wearing a corset-style red bodysuit with a shimmery trim and attached tail, while accessorizing with spiky sleeves, knee-high-stockings, pointy heels, and a pair of fake wings to match. She rounded things out with a headband shaped like a pair of horns.<\/p>\n

Dragon, who is originally believed to be an antagonist, ultimately becomes the love interest of Donkey. As a cheeky nod to this, Sweeney posted a clip where she was seen twerking on a friend dressed like the equine (and there\u2019s a good chance that it was Scooter Braun<\/a> hiding inside there). Other attendees emulated figures like Lord Farquaad, the Gingerbread Man, and Puss in Boots.<\/p>\n

The festivities didn\u2019t end there, though. Sweeney turned Friendsgiving into a week-long celebration, one which included a trip to Disney World, a dinner by the sea, late-night karaoke, and a makeshift spelling bee.<\/p>\n

Last month, the Anyone But You star teased her Shrek-themed gathering during a visit to Good Morning America. There, she said that each guest had been assigned a character and would be required to show up in full costume. Evidently, everyone followed the assignment. Let\u2019s see if Sweeney makes this costumed Friendsgiving into a tradition next year.<\/p>\n
