EastEnders has confirmed that there will be two bonus episodes this festive season, as the full episode schedule for over Christmas and New Year is revealed.<\/p>\n

Huge storylines will come to a climax this Christmas, including the escalation of Zoe Slater\u2019s mystery tormentor<\/a> and a special episode focusing on Nigel Bates\u2019s dementia<\/a> that will air on Tuesday, 23 December.<\/p>\n

The BBC has confirmed that, like last year, there will be two 30-minute episodes of EastEnders airing on Christmas Day. The first instalment will air at 7.45pm, then the drama in Albert Square will resume at 9.45pm following the Christmas specials of Call the Midwife and Amandaland.<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll be a dramatic Christmas in Walford<\/a>, as a situation escalates for the Slaters and the Beale and Brannings team up for a festive dinner that will no doubt be fraught with tension.<\/p>\n
