\n\tUnder the supervision of executive Cesar Conde, NBC News<\/a> has rolled out a long suite of streaming<\/a> products that offer digitally savvy news aficionados access to \u201cToday,\u201d \u201cDateline\u201d and more. Now, the company will offer all of its content in a single basket.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new service will make all NBC News content, from episodes of linear shows to podcasts and already-extant streams, available in a single app, along with new exclusive reports and live channels from NBC-owned local stations, Telemundo, Sky, and NBC Sports. The subscription will also include NBC News Now, the live-streamed news service that gives readers deeper reports on breaking stories. A distinct name and definite price have not been unveiled.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe latest details of the new service, which was initially unveiled in February<\/a>, were reported previously by Axios. Executives at NBC News are expected to brief staffers more fully later this week.<\/p>\n

\n\tNBC News is creating a new package just as rival CNN, part of Warner Bros. Discovery, is placing new emphasis on a subscription-based digital product <\/a>that offers access to its flagship cable network along with on-demand viewing of special programs and curation of ongoing news coverage \u2014 some of which won\u2019t be made available via linear means.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new services aim to lure a growing slice of consumers who aren\u2019t accustomed to tuning into a linear TV network when news breaks, but turn instead to social media or digital video. <\/p>\n

\n\tExecutives at NBC News expect the new offering to be used \u201con the go,\u201d and place more emphasis on vertical video.
