Elizabeth Olsen is opening up about what it was really like growing up as the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and it turns out her earliest audience didn\u2019t exactly have a choice.<\/p>\n
In a new interview with The Times of London<\/a>, the \u201cWandaVision\u201d star joked that her famous twin sisters were essentially obligated to sit through her many childhood performances. \u201cThey were forced to watch all my plays my whole life and go to my dance performances,\u201d she said, calling her upbringing in a celebrity household \u201cpretty chaotic.\u201d<\/p>\n RELATED: ‘Full House’s’ Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber reveal which Olsen twin ‘did not like’ filming<\/a><\/p>\n Mary-Kate and Ashley, who shot to fame as toddlers on \u201cFull House\u201d as Michelle Tanner, eventually stepped away from acting to focus on fashion. Her on-screen sister Jodie Sweetin, who play Stephanie Tanner, revealed that one twin didn’t like acting <\/a>as a child star. But Elizabeth says she never turned to them for career advice when she launched her own Hollywood path.<\/p>\n \u201cNo,\u201d she admitted when asked whether her sisters coached her. \u201cWe\u2019re just a supportive family. It feels irrelevant to talk about it after 15 years of working.\u201d<\/p>\n Still, Elizabeth remembers wrestling with the idea of becoming an actor at all. Growing up in Los Angeles, she said, made the dream of entering showbiz feel \u201cfoolish.\u201d And in her early auditioning years, she briefly thought about distancing herself from the Olsen name altogether.<\/p>\n
