\n\tHBO Max<\/a> has confirmed it is set to roll-out in the U.K. and Ireland in March next year.<\/p>\n

\n\tCasey Bloys, HBO Max CEO, unveiled the launch window for the first time at a presentation in London, U.K., where he said he was \u201cexcited to announce\u201d the launch.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier on Wednesday the streamer confirmed it is coming to Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein<\/a> on Jan. 13. <\/p>\n

\n\tFor the first time, viewers in these territories will be able to enjoy content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, the DC Universe and Max Originals all in one place. Some of the streamer\u2019s most popular shows include \u201cThe Pitt,\u201d \u201cIt: Welcome to Derry,\u201d \u201cHouse of the Dragon,\u201d \u201cThe Last of Us,\u201d \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d and \u201cEuphoria,\u201d while movie offerings include \u201cSuperman,\u201d \u201cThe Batman,\u201d \u201cDune\u201d and the \u201cHarry Potter\u201d franchise. The news also comes in time for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, which will broadcast live on HBO Max from Feb. 6 to 22.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe launch of the streamer in the U.K. will mark the first time HBO content will primarily be available in the U.K. somewhere other than Sky, given the two conglomerates\u2019 long-standing output deal.<\/p>\n

\n\tThrough an expanded agreement announced last year, HBO content will still be available to watch on Sky for free even after HBO Max\u2019s U.K. and Ireland launch.
