Photo \/ GeoNet<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Two moderate earthquakes that shook an isolated community late on Thursday morning were felt around the Central North Island.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A 4.8-magnitude jolt centred 10km north-east of the Tararua community of Pongaroa struck at 11.47am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">GeoNet said the quake, at a depth of 7km, caused \u201cmoderate\u201d shaking. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n         A Pongaroa resident<br \/>\n         described it on Facebook as a \u201cvery sharp\u201d jolt.
