\u201cWe reached out to the dairy owners earlier this week and let them know that we are having a particular focus on this offending over the next period,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said police are working to identify other parties involved in this and other recent youth offending. <\/p>\n

\u201cPolice\u2019s operation announced earlier today will enhance our capabilities and resources as we work to tackle this recent increase in offending,\u201d Hill said. <\/p>\n

He said anyone who has information that might help police inquiries is urged to call 105, referencing Operation Anchor.<\/p>\n

Serious Christchurch offending on the rise <\/p>\n

Hill said police numbers suggest the number of incidents in Christchurch has been reasonably static, but the seriousness of the offending has increased in the last few weeks. <\/p>\n

He said that \u201cconcerns us a lot\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re out there and you\u2019re taking part in this type of offending, then expect to see the full force of our policing coming towards you,\u201d he told NZME. <\/p>\n
