Alyssa Farah Griffin<\/a> recently gave fans an update on her health while addressing why she missed some episodes of her ABC talk show, \u201cThe View.\u201d The TV personality is one of the co-hosts on the show, alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, and more.<\/p>\n Fans were quick to notice that Griffin was absent from a few episodes of the talk show, sparking several speculations among them. Meanwhile, in a recent episode, her co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, sent her a message, saying, \u201cGet better soon.\u201d<\/p>\n On Wednesday, December 3, Alyssa Farah Griffin took to Instagram to share a story, explaining why she could not join her other co-hosts in some recent episodes of \u201cThe View.\u201d In the Story, she penned, \u201cHey guys! I\u2019ve been down sick with a stomach virus.\u201d The TV personality continued, \u201cBut will hopefully be back on @theviewabc tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n In the meantime, Alyssa Farah Griffin further explained, \u201cIt\u2019s no fun being sick while 6 \u00bd+ months pregnant!\u201d The television personality<\/a> also left some advice for her fans in the same Instagram Story. She added, \u201cRemember it\u2019s that time of year \u2014 be smart, use hand sanitizer, stay home if you\u2019re sick!\u201d<\/p>\n Alyssa Farah Griffin is expecting her first baby, a boy, with her husband Justin Griffin. Their child is due in February 2026. The TV personality announced the happy news on her talk show, \u201cThe View,\u201d on October 8, 2025.
