Marvel Studios may continue to gatekeep the complete cast details of Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>, but Gwyneth Paltrow\u2019s<\/a> latest response to her potential MCU return has fans convinced about Pepper Potts\u2019 proposed comeback in the upcoming movie. The Academy Award winner recently addressed the possibilities of reprising her Marvel role in Avengers 5, neither accepting nor denying her involvement in the project.<\/p>\n

Gwyneth Paltrow teases Pepper Potts\u2019 return in Avengers: Doomsday<\/p>\n

During her recent appearance at The Hollywood Reporter\u2019s Women of Entertainment Gala, the Shallow Hal star once again toyed with fan expectations regarding her MCU return by providing a hopeful yet inconclusive answer.<\/p>\n

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight\u2019s<\/a> Deidre Behar, Gwyneth Paltrow was asked if \u201cPepper Potts is going to be back\u201d for Avengers: Doomsday, given that Robert Downey Jr.<\/a> will also be returning to the MCU setup with the film, albeit in a new role. <\/p>\n

After pondering the question for a brief moment, the 53-year-old actress sported a suggestive smile before hesitantly noting, \u201cWe\u2019ll see.\u201d She then bit her lip in excitement as if she was hiding a major spoiler, before reiterating her response.<\/p>\n

Paltrow has appeared as Pepper Potts in seven MCU movies so far, partnering Robert Downey Jr.\u2019s Tony Stark\/Iron Man on each occasion. The character\u2019s last big-screen appearance occurred in 2019\u2019s Avengers: Endgame<\/a>, which also marked the end of Downey Jr.\u2019s stint as the billionaire superhero.<\/p>\n

Notably, this isn\u2019t the first time that Gwyneth Paltrow has hinted at the return of Pepper Potts in Avengers: Doomsday. While talking about her future projects in a previous interview<\/a>, the Hollywood veteran made a similar comment about her MCU future, stating that she \u201cmight be in another Marvel movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

In yet another discussion<\/a>, Paltrow claimed that she is completely unaware of Pepper Potts\u2019 role in Avengers: Doomsday. \u201cThe truth is, I don\u2019t totally know,\u201d she said, before adding, \u201cI think I might, but I\u2019m not sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
