Miley Cyrus<\/a> flashed a glossy smile as she confirmed her engagement to boyfriend-of-four-years Maxx Morando<\/a> last night.<\/p>\n

The singer made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, where she spoke about life with her fianc\u00e9, and showed off her chunky diamond ring<\/a>. In revealing sweet details about their everyday, Cyrus joked that she keeps Morando around to open her packages, as she has a longstanding phobia of paper and cardboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristmas, I\u2019m known as a little bit of a Grinch because I have a qualm with Christmas. I hate paper,\u201d she shared. \u201cThe real problem for me with paper is when people have dry hands and they touch paper and then it\u2019s Christmas and it\u2019s cold and everyone\u2019s hands are dry and they\u2019re all touching paper.\u201d<\/p>\n

She jokingly made disgusted faces as she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s getting worse and so there does need to be some sort of intervention and I am gonna look into some sort of EMDR, being hypnotized about it because it is affecting my everyday life,\u201d Cyrus said. \u201cSomeone gets an Amazon box, I\u2019m sick, because the cardboard is the worst of it all. It\u2019s extra dry and there\u2019s packaging within it. That\u2019s the best part, that\u2019s really why I got engaged because I just make my fianc\u00e9 open all the packages outside.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the first anniversary is paper or something right?\u2019 show host Jimmy Kimmel then noted. \u201cUh nuh, not here,\u201d Cyrus said with a laugh.<\/p>\n

During the chat, the \u201cFlowers\u201d singer also made an unexpected comment about her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, whom she married in 2018 and divorced in 2020.<\/p>\n

When Kimmel asked Cyrus if she would be willing to sign her own marriage certificate, given her fear of paper, she said: \u201cHere\u2019s the thing, waxed paper, anything that\u2019s got a smooth surface, that\u2019s better. And from the last marriage, I think I remember the paper is waxed\u2014but I smoked one of those imaginary joints so I can\u2019t really remember.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hemsworth is now engaged<\/a> to model Gabriella Brooks.<\/p>\n
