A Hawke\u2019s Bay Airport<\/a> spokeswoman said the airport was \u201cthrilled to extend a warm welcome\u201d to Airspresso\u2019s Fuel to Fly brand, which will serve food and beverages to passengers and visitors.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who fly domestically might know Airspresso from its cafes at Queenstown, Dunedin, and New Plymouth airports,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIncredible local brand Bay Espresso leaves the HBAL family of tenants, after more than four years in the terminal, and thousands of passengers and visitors who have enjoyed their fare. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank Chris [Jarvis] and the team, and wish them the best of luck for whatever comes next.\u201d<\/p>\n

The airport confirmed Bay Espresso opted not to renew the lease.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sugar on Top \u2013 which offers delicious treats and coffee \u2013 had been operating a pop-up store at the airport since May.<\/p>\n

That arrangement concluded on Monday.<\/p>\n

Sugar on Top continues to operate its main store on Latham St in Napier, and also plans to open another pop-up store at Hastings\u2019 Landmarks Square next week.<\/p>\n
