After the fourth season saw Homelander (Antony Starr) essentially taking control of the US government and place more Supes in power while undermining humans and rounding them up, the final season finds our rag tag group banding together \u2013 for better and worse \u2013 to take down Vought once and for all.<\/p>\n<p>The final season will debut April 6 on Prime Video and run until May 20.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/join-pro\/?utm_source=sitereadmore&amp;utm_medium=ai&amp;utm_campaign=2025r&amp;utm_id=12032025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"970\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1765101428_560_WrapPRO-970x250-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7903226\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven if I have to drag your broken f\u2013king carcasses over the finish line, we are going all the way, no matter the cost,\u201d Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) says in an ominous pep talk.<\/p>\n<p>For fans of \u201cSupernatural\u201d \u2013 which \u201cThe Boys\u201d showrunner Eric Kripke also helmed \u2013 the first trailer also holds an extra special reunion. It has already been reported that Jensen Ackles would be returning for the final season as Soldier Boy, and he appears being overlooked by Homelander in the new footage. <\/p>\n<p>However, earlier in the trailer, Jared Padalecki\u2019s mysterious new character is also seen looking less than thriller to be wherever he is. Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother\u2019s Milk (Laz Alonso) and Frenchie (Tomer Capone) are imprisoned in a \u2018Freedom Camp.\u2019 Annie (Erin Moriarty) struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.\u00a0It\u2019s the climax, people.
