Perhaps most excitingly, there\u2019s a superb psychological thriller coming in the form of Dark Winds, which is entering its third highly-anticipated series. We\u2019ve also got a deliciously dark revenge drama, The Revenge Club<\/a>, on the way and Jamie Oliver<\/a> is helping us all out this Christmas by sharing his get-ahead secrets. So, let the stress melt away because these are the 7 shows to watch on Netflix, ITV and more this week.

The Revenge Club \"the<\/p>\n

Paramount<\/p>\n

The clue is in the title of this revenge drama, which sees six lonely, hapless strangers, each reeling from betrayal and heartbreak, come together to form a divorce support group. The result is an ill-judged idea: to take revenge on the people who broke their hearts. Forged exam papers and rat invasions start as a bit of fun for the likes of Emily (Aim\u00e9e-Ffion Edwards), Calum (Martin Compston<\/a>) and Rita (Meera Syal), until their appetite for revenge spirals. The adaptation of J.D. Pennington\u2019s The Othello Club is written by The Girlfriend\u2019s Gabbie Asher – and it\u2019s just as brilliantly warped. Arriving on Paramount+ on Friday 12th December.<\/p>\n

Irish Blood <\/p>\n

This Dublin-set series set the record for the most-watched new series premiere in Acorn TV history when it premiered earlier this year \u2013 for good reason. Alicia Silverstone is the US-based lawyer who was abandoned by her Irish father, Declan (Jason O\u2019Mara), as a child. Or so she thought. A letter from her estranged father prompts her return to the Emerald Isle, where she learns that the story of abandonment that has shaped her entire life was in fact a lie\u2026 to protect her. Brilliantly unpredictable. Arriving on Sky Witness and NOW on Sunday 14th December. <\/p>\n

Dark Winds\"dark<\/p>\n

This brilliant psychological thriller takes us back to the 1970s on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley. Lt. Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) of the Tribal Police and new Deputy Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon) are besieged by a series of seemingly unrelated crimes and, together, the two men face the trauma of their pasts as they search for clues. A superb series that will keep you guessing. Series 3 is arriving on U&Alibi on Tuesday 9th December. <\/p>\n

Jamie\u2019s Cook-Ahead Christmas \"pictured:<\/p>\n

In a world saturated with cooking shows, Jamie Oliver still remains our festive favourite. His latest show is for those who are fed up of being stuck in the kitchen while everyone enjoys the fun at Christmas (that’s all of us, then), with Jamie showing us how to prepare a yuletide feast in advance. The key? Focusing on the Big Four dishes: gravy, roast potatoes, turkey and an Arctic roll. Delicious! Arriving on Monday 8th December at 8pm on Channel 4.<\/p>\n

The War Between the Land and the Sea\"tx<\/p>\n

Russell T Davies\u2019 Doctor Who spin-off arrives on our screens with a thrilling double bill. The five-part series will introduce us to Barclay (Russell Tovey), a low-level UNIT staff member whose ordinary life turns rather terrifying when an ancient species rises from the sea. Barclay becomes humanity\u2019s ambassador when the mysterious Salt (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) emerges from the Tank at a summit on the Thames. Man Vs Baby\"father<\/p>\n

Rowan Atkinson\u2019s newest comic character is bumbling middle-aged dad Trevor Bingley, who found himself in battle with a bee while house-sitting a posh mansion in 2022\u2019s Man vs. Bee. He\u2019s since left housesitting behind for a job as a caretaker \u2013 but now a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist. As does the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, who\u2019s been left behind on the last day of term\u2026 Arriving on Netflix<\/a> on Thursday 11th December.<\/p>\n

Celebrity Race Across the World: The Final\"celebrity<\/p>\n

Stars and their loved ones, including Anita Rani and her dad, Bal, have been racing across the globe with a rather small budget – and a map \u2013 and the time has come to find out who will triumph in the Celebrity Race Across the World<\/a> final. The teams must race from Medell\u00edn, Colombia\u2019s second-largest city, in an epic push of over 1,000km to the finish line on the Guajira Peninsula, the northernmost region of South America. After 33 days and nearly 5,900km, it could be anyone\u2019s game. Arriving on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm on Thursday 11th December. <\/p>\n
