Vanderpump Villa<\/a> alum Marciano Brunette<\/a> met Demi Engemann<\/a> while she was visiting Castello Rosato in Italy. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/a> cast member filmed for Vanderpump Villa, along with some of her co-stars. Demi and Marciano flirted, but what happened next is heavily disputed.<\/p>\n Allegedly, Demi was \u201cgroped\u201d<\/a> by a male member of the Villa cast. Later, she accused Marciano of \u201cunwanted touch.\u201d This was a major storyline in SLOMW Season 3, as Demi\u2019s co-stars struggled with why she kept in contact with Marciano.<\/p>\n Marciano Brunette is suing Demi Engemann for defamation<\/p>\n Marciano previously denied Demi\u2019s allegations<\/a> in a statement. Now, he is taking legal action<\/a> against her. TMZ<\/a> reported that Marciano is suing Demi for defamation. In court documents, Marciano alleged that Demi falsely accused him of being a \u201csexual predator,\u201d as well as of sexual assault. According to Marciano, the kiss that he and Demi shared off-camera was consensual. In the legal papers, Marciano claimed that Demi \u201creframed the obviously consensual interaction as one of sexual misconduct and then as sexual assault.\u201d<\/p>\n And Marciano is also suing Jeff Jenkins, who is a producer on SLOMW. The former Villa server claimed that the show had \u201cobvious reasons to doubt Engemann\u2019s account, including inconsistencies, delay, and facts known to Production that undermined the claims.\u201d The documents claim that SLOMW \u201camplified the same accusations for profit.\u201d In addition, Marciano claims that Demi\u2019s allegations resulted in \u201clost professional opportunities, harassment by strangers, and lasting harm to Marciano\u2019s reputation.\u201d<\/p>\n Plus, Marciano is asking for damages in the lawsuit against Demi and Jeff, and he wants a \u201cnarrowly tailored injunction\u201d that would ban \u201crepeating and republishing\u201d of any \u201cstatements\u201d that the court rules are \u201cdefamatory.\u201d<\/p>\n
