{"id":174304,"date":"2025-12-08T21:41:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T21:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/174304\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T21:41:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T21:41:08","slug":"all-blacks-2026-home-test-venues-announced-allblacks-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/174304\/","title":{"rendered":"All Blacks 2026 home Test venues announced \u00bb allblacks.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The All Blacks will kick off an epic 2026 Test season against France at Christchurch\u2019s new One New Zealand Stadium in the first of four home fixtures across New Zealand\u2019s three biggest cities.<\/p>\n<p>Italy will play the All Blacks at Wellington\u2019s Sky Stadium on Saturday 11 July with a family friendly 5.10pm afternoon kick-off, while Eden Park in Auckland will host Ireland Saturday 18 July and Australia on Saturday 10 October the first of the two annual Bledisloe Cup Tests.<\/p>\n<p>The All Blacks action-packed 2026 season, featuring 17 matches including 13 Tests live and exclusive on Sky, kicks off at the 30,000-seat covered One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch at 7.10pm on Saturday, 4 July.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets go on sale in March but fans can register for pre-sale now by <a title=\"Sign up to pre-sales\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/allblacksfanhub.com\/2026_presale\" target=\"_blank\">clicking here<\/a> or visiting the All Blacks <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.allblacks.com\/fixtures\/all-blacks\" target=\"_blank\">fixtures page<\/a>, which includes the full 2026 match schedule allblacks.com<\/p>\n<p>The season opener will mark the All Blacks first Test at a large, permanent stadium in the Canterbury region since the 2011 Christchurch earthquake saw the end of the Lancaster Park era. It will also be the first Test of the new 12-team Nations Championship.<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand Rugby CEO Mark Robinson said the first Test of the year would be a significant moment for rugby.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the All Blacks to play at the new One New Zealand stadium 15 years after the earthquakes will be a special moment for the team and a significant occasion for rugby at the start of a new era for the international game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHosting France, Italy and Ireland in consecutive weeks will be new for our players and it creates three unique match experiences for fans in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland as we kick off the Nations Championship era.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Bledisloe Cup is a hugely important trophy to the All Blacks, as is the team\u2019s record at Eden Park, and our home fans will no doubt play their part again in the Tests against Ireland and Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Italy will play their first Test in Wellington and fourth in New Zealand since the two side\u2019s first met in their opening pool match at the 1987 Rugby World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The All Blacks 52 Test unbeaten streak at Eden Park will be on the line twice in 2026, first against Ireland, then against an Australian team trying to win the Bledisloe Cup for the first time since 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Ireland\u2019s visit to Eden Park will be their fourth in New Zealand since their first trip to New Zealand in 1976. They have never won at Eden Park and only twice in New Zealand, but the rivalry between the teams have been evenly matched in recent years with the All Blacks winning six of the last 10 Tests.<\/p>\n<p>All Blacks Head Coach Scott Robertson said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlaying at home will always be special to the All Blacks and to host three Northern Hemisphere nations in consecutive weeks is a great start to our 2026 campaign and a challenge we will embrace.
