\n\tPaul Ben-Victor has joined the cast of Netflix<\/a>\u2018s upcoming series adaptation of \u201cThe Boys From Brazil<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tBen-Victor is the latest addition to the cast, which is led by Jeremy Strong and also features Gillian Anderson, Daniel Bru\u0308hl, August Diehl, Lizzy Caplan, and Shira Haas. The show was formally announced in November<\/a> and is based on the novel of the same name by Ira Levin. Netflix has ordered five one-hour episodes. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe official logline states:<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSet across three decades from the immediate aftermath of WW2 through the political turbulence of the 1970s, \u2018The Boys from Brazil\u2019 follows Holocaust survivor and Nazi hunter Yakov Liebermann (Strong), in his lifelong crusade to bring Nazi fugitives to justice, a crusade that has cost him nearly everything.When one of his young prot\u00e9g\u00e9es undercover in Brazil learns of a shocking Nazi plan, Liebermann is in a race against time to expose an unimaginable truth: Doctor Johann-Friedrich Meinhardt (Diehl), a sadistic Nazi scientist he believed long dead, is alive and orchestrating a diabolical project to spark the rise of a Fourth Reich.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBen-Victor will appear in the role of Sidney Beynon, who is a journalist who works with Liebermann in both the novel and the 1978 film version. Denholm Elliot played the character in the film. <\/p>\n

\n\tBen-Victor is no stranger to Netflix audiences, as he recently appeared in the hit comedy series \u201cNobody Wants This\u201d and previously featured in \u201cThe Lincoln Lawyer\u201d at the steamer. Ben-Victor is known for his time on the acclaimed HBO series \u201cThe Wire\u201d as well as shows like \u201cEntourage, \u201cIn Plain Sight,\u201d and \u201cThe Chosen.\u201d Next up, he will be seen in the HBO-DC series \u201cLanterns.\u201d In film, Ben-Victor has been seen in features like \u201cThe Irishman\u201d and \u201cEmancipation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe is repped by Verve and Alan Siegel Entertainment. <\/p>\n

\n\tPeter Morgan, known for creating the hit Netflix drama \u201cThe Crown,\u201d adapted the book for the small screen and executive produces. Additional executive producers include Suzanne Mackie for Orchid Pictures and Simon Heath for World Productions, part of ITV Studios, as well as Alex Gabassi, who will also direct.
