The Masked Singer season 14 hits FOX with a special 2-hour premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 7.The competing celebs are kept under wraps (literally) until the judges correctly guess and reveal their identities.Descendants star and budding pop star Kylie Cantrall

You may know Kylie Cantrall as Princess Red in Disney’s Descendants movies, or maybe her infectious R&B-tinged tracks like “Boy For a Day” have made their way onto your Spotify Wrapped this year. Either way, one thing’s for sure: The girl’s got serious vocal chops and star power.

Perhaps that’s why she’s joining the ranks on the upcoming season of The Masked Singer, which hits FOX with a special two-hour premiere on January 7. In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, December 10, the Disney princess turned pop star shared that she’s competing on the show’s 14th season—but there’s a catch.

For the first time in the reality series’ history, she’ll be “America’s Insider” as she brings viewers in on the process of her competition strategy. Honestly, it’s pretty historic as fans will be able to follow her journey from the start.

“I’ll be working for you and sharing my strategy to throw off Nick, Robin, Jenny, Ken, and my on-screen mom Rita,” the triple threat quipped in her video, referring to the show’s host and judging panel. “They have no idea this is happening. It’s the biggest secret ever!”

While The Masked Singer’s whole shtick is for the judges and viewers to guess the identities of contestants as they compete in outlandish disguises, it’s unclear whether we’ll get to see Kylie’s costume during her behind-the-scenes journey.

ICYMI, some of the costumes that will be featured this season include High Voltage, Snowcone, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, Pugcasso, Queen Corgi, Scarab, and The Croissants.
