In a recent YouTube conversation with Usha Kakade, the wife of actor Govinda spoke candidly about the tragedy, calling it the toughest moment she has ever lived through.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/movies\/celebrities\/story\/ssunita-ahuja-talks-about-past-mistakes-says-govinda-is-not-a-good-husband-2816207-2025-11-09?utm_source=global-search&amp;utm_medium=global-search&amp;utm_campaign=global-search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The couple, who married in 1987<\/a>, kept their relationship under wraps until after the birth of their first daughter, Tina. But behind the scenes, Ssunita was navigating an emotional and physical ordeal that continues to shape her even today.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing her story, Ssunita said her second daughter was born prematurely and struggled with severe health complications. \u201cWhen my second daughter was born, she was born prematurely. She was in my arms for three months, but her lungs didn\u2019t develop properly. One night, she couldn\u2019t breathe, and she passed away in my arms. That was extremely difficult for me. I could have had two daughters and a son today,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n<p>She went on to describe the events leading up to the premature delivery, a stark contrast to her first, smooth pregnancy. Ssunita admitted she was unaware of the risks and exerted herself unknowingly during frequent travel with Govinda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was born at eight months, but we lost her after three months. I was travelling too much with Govinda. I didn\u2019t know that I shouldn\u2019t have done heavy lifting. I carried heavy chocolate bags from Singapore, and my water burst when I reached Mumbai,\u201d she said in an earlier interview in 2024.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/movies\/celebrities\/story\/govinda-apologises-for-wife-sunita-ahuja-remarks-about-their-family-priest-pandit-mukesh-shukla-2813622-2025-11-04?utm_source=global-search&amp;utm_medium=global-search&amp;utm_campaign=global-search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Ssunita and Govinda<\/a> later welcomed their son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.
