They\u2019re still children, this Wednesday, they turn 11, but they are also the future of the Principality. From a very young age,\u00a0Jacques and Gabriella of Monaco have held a prominent place in the royal agenda, though their roles have evolved as they\u2019ve grown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They went from being adorable, carefree little ones who accompanied their parents to age-appropriate engagements, to still curious children, looking at their parents with the eyes of those who are learning and absorbing everything happening around them. In this sense, this year has been a true turning point.<\/p>\n

Although it is still early for their schedules to carry real institutional weight, the twins of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have already taken part in high-level events, such as the historic state visit of President Emmanuel Macron and his wife to Monaco, where they were present for the official welcome at the palace.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They also accompanied their parents on an official trip to Brittany. It was not their first trip abroad, but certainly their most significant. It\u2019s impossible not to remember them from the days when their spontaneity stole every spotlight. Now the focus is on their professionalism, calm, confidence, and natural ease in institutional settings.<\/p>\n

In addition to paying attention to the public activities of the princely household, their way of dressing has also evolved, taking inspiration from their parents. Their looks have matured along with them, and as they start to approach adolescence, hints of their future style are already visible.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Jacques often dresses similarly to his father, his sister Gabriella is emerging as a bold young royal in fashion, guided by the best possible mentor, her mother. Their personal styles are beginning to diverge, and as they grow, their personalities are also taking shape.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prince Albert described his children in a TF1 interview just a few months ago, admitting that they are quite different, as Jacques is more “reserved,” while Gabriella is more extroverted and has a “strong character.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the only children of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, the spotlight has always followed them, and they have grown up accepting their destiny with natural ease. And always together, being twins, they are rarely seen apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prince Jacques, as heir, is destined to assume a more significant institutional role, and his preparation will have to be different. Although Jacques and Gabriella have already made major strides in their public roles, their parents remain determined to give them the space needed to enjoy their youth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For now, despite their increasing visibility in the Principality, their priority remains their education. Both attend the Fran\u00e7ois d\u2019Assise\u2013Nicolas Barr\u00e9 (FANB) school, a private Catholic institution established in Monaco in 1859.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The twins have been enrolled there since 2021, and the school’s classrooms are located very close to the Grimaldi Palace. With more than 1,170 students and around 82 nationalities represented, it is the most popular school of its kind in Monaco.
