Miriam Margolyes<\/a> left the This Morning hosts in shock with her confession about Buckingham Palace<\/a> during her appearance on Thursday’s episode.<\/p>\n The Harry Potter<\/a> actress, 84, is known for her outspoken nature and when she joined Cat Deeley<\/a> and Ben Shephard<\/a> on the ITV<\/a> magazine show, she let slip that she had broken wind whilst making an appearance with royalty.<\/p>\n She said: “I have let it out at the palace but quietly. One wrote: “Many people disagree, but I bloody love Miriam Margolyes, I could listen to her stories for days!”<\/p>\n Another said:” Miriam is great. So far from the usual fakes who pretend to be perfect” but another took umbrage with something Miriam had said earlier. They wrote: “Miriam Margolyes: I consider myself quite sophisticated… All said while talking with food in her mouth!”<\/p>\n Despite her flatulence in front of the royal family<\/a>, Miriam had nothing but praise for King Charles<\/a> and Queen Camilla<\/a> and everything that they do. She said: “I love the King and Queen. I hate it when people say anything critical about them, they’re gorgeous people, kind, very well read and sensible!”<\/p>\n However, she did reveal that things almost went wrong when she tried to curtsy towards the Queen. She said: “I was trying to curtsy [to the Queen].<\/p>\n “I’m unsteady on my feet so I held onto Her Majesty and I thought I would bring her down on me which I didn’t want! She’s stronger than me and everything went off all right.”<\/p>\n Ahead of the release of her new book, the Professor Sprout actress<\/a>, also, revealed she’d recently undergone a procedure <\/a>that turned out to be “messy.”<\/p>\n “I did a poo test this morning, it was vivid. It was difficult to know, I don’t want to go into details,” she began.<\/p>\n “I just want to tell people they must have a poo test,” she went on, urging followers to take on the “life-saving” procedure.<\/p>\n She added: “It went on a bit longer than I expected, that’s all.” Reassuring Cat and Ben of her test results, she said, “I’m sure it’s all right; it could be a bit messy.”<\/p>\n “I think doctors should find a better way of finding out,” she continued. “I put it in a perfume bag to soften the blow,” she added.<\/p>\n This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX<\/p>\n Like this story?
