Apple Martin<\/a> borrowed an iconic piece from her mom\u2019s wardrobe and gave it new life.<\/p>\n

Last night, the young model attended the New York City premiere of Marty Supreme to support mother Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a>. And for the occasion, she slipped on the same black, archival Calvin Klein Collection dress that Paltrow wore nearly 30 years ago.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an easy, scoop-neck maxi dress with halter-style shoulder straps and an open back. It hugs the body slightly, while still maintaining a relaxed silhouette.<\/p>\n

Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, Martin wore the dress with black Manolo Blahnik heels and diamond stud earrings from Tiffany & Co. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun, and she had on subtle black liner and a glossy pink lip.<\/p>\n

Paltrow debuted the dress at the 1996 NYC premiere of her film Emma. She too wore it with diamond studs and a messy, wavy high bun. As for glam, she had on a dark smoky eye and a deep-red lip. <\/p>\n

Last night, Martin walked the red carpet alongside her mom and her brother, Moses<\/a>. Paltrow wore her own black dress\u2014one with a ruched velvet bodice adorned with a bow at the shoulder, and a high-slit skirt. She paired it with pointy black heels, a sleek, curled-in \u2019do, and a bold red lip.<\/p>\n

Her son was cool in a sky-blue button-up, gray blazer, striped blue-and-green tie, and white pants. A pair of chunky brown sneakers completed his look.<\/p>\n
