Prince William and Kate<\/a>, the Princess of Wales, are sharing a Christmas message along with a new photo featuring their three kids<\/a>, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.<\/p>\n

The Wales family shared the message on social media<\/a> Thursday, writing, “Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas.”<\/p>\n

The photo shared with the message features William and Kate sitting outside in a field of wildflowers with George, 12, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, 7.<\/p>\n

The photo was taken in April by photographer Josh Shinner, according to Kensington Palace.<\/p>\n

William and Kate and their kids are wearing casual clothes in the photo, including jeans for William, George and Louis.<\/p>\n

The Wales family got into the Christmas spirit earlier this month when they attended<\/a> an annual Christmas carol service hosted by Kate at Westminster Abbey.<\/p>\n

The family of five, who moved<\/a> into a new home earlier this year, typically spend Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham, the king’s estate in Norfolk, England.<\/p>\n

Members of the royal family have historically held their gift exchange on Christmas Eve, following the German tradition, where they often swap funny or homemade gifts.<\/p>\n

On Christmas Day, after attending church, the family enjoys lunch at Sandringham before watching the king deliver his annual, televised Christmas message.<\/p>\n

In the evening, the family members gather again for a Christmas buffet dinner.<\/p>\n
