\u201cWe found out the baby\u2019s sex at 10 weeks through a blood test and feel blessed after our scan a couple of weeks ago that we are having a healthy baby.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cruickshank has already purchased a Stokke YOYO stroller and a Gucci baby bag.<\/p>\n

In October, Cruickshank opened up to Society Insider<\/a> about the backlash she has faced since going public with her relationship with Foster.<\/p>\n Foster was convicted in 2020 of indecently assaulting and sexually violating a colleague at a motel in Northland, after they had been assigned to help with Waitangi Day events at the Treaty Grounds in 2019.<\/p>\n Foster served two years of a six-year sentence and was released on electronically monitored parole in March 2022.<\/p>\n Cruickshank, 36, and Foster, 35, have engaged high-profile investigator Tim McKinnel<\/a>, of leading investigation firm Zav\u00e9st, to look into overturning Foster\u2019s conviction.<\/p>\n In October, McKinnel said he was preparing applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission and the court in an attempt to overturn Foster\u2019s conviction.<\/p>\n Cruickshank said at the time that clearing Foster\u2019s name was no longer just about him. \u201cIt\u2019s for our children, for me, and for his family,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Speaking to Society Insider today, Cruickshank had no updates on the progress of the applications, but she believes in the process they have embarked on.<\/p>\n Foster is currently studying at night to gain his own private investigator licence, which Cruickshank says he is doing extremely well at.<\/p>\n By day, the trained painter and builder is renovating their house. <\/p>\n The couple found their dream villa across the road from the former home of The Diamond Shop on Jervois Rd.<\/p>\n In late September, they relocated the villa to a waterfront piece of land north of Auckland owned by Foster. <\/p>\n The house is still on blocks and will be lowered into the ground in the new year. They are converting one of the rooms into a nursery.<\/p>\n Cruickshank says after an interesting few years in business at The Diamond Shop, coming into Christmas trading has been strong and well up on last year.<\/p>\n By night, she says she works as hard as Foster on the renovations, and they have a schedule to have everything finished by February.<\/p>\n \u201cThe finished home will be a true blend of elegance and warmth \u2013 somewhere we can grow roots, make memories and call home for years to come,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n The couple were in Queenstown last weekend for broadcaster Wilhelmina Shrimpton and star rugby referee Ben O\u2019Keefe\u2019s glamorous wedding<\/a> at Ayrburn.<\/p>\n While the newlyweds were based at Millbrook, Cruickshank and Fraser had a smart Airbnb next door.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were thrilled to have time in Queenstown and have a bit of a holiday, as we will be renovating our house right through Christmas,\u201d she says.<\/p>\nSera Cruickshank and Jamie Foster are adding a nursery in their family villa.<\/p>\n
