he was cancer free.<\/a><\/p>\n\u201cGoing through cancer is a life-changing experience,\u201d he explained. \u201cSo I\u2019m NED \u2014 it\u2019s called No Evidence of Disease \u2014 for like three years now, actually. And you know, it\u2019s a gradual process. You at first don\u2019t believe it. You\u2019re still kind of in that fight-or-flight mode.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lundgren addressed criticism about his marriage to Emma Krokdal, who is 39 years his junior, during a recent interview. FOX NEWS<\/p>\n
To \u201cget used to a new baseline,\u201d Lundgren shared, he did \u201csurvivorship therapy,\u201d and now has a \u201cnew way of looking at\u201d his life and the world.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery day is a blessing, and you\u2019re grateful for being here and for all the wonderful things my life has given me,\u201d he said. \u201cSo yeah, it does change your outlook on life, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
Part of his new outlook on life includes being kinder to his body, which he admits he\u2019s \u201cmishandled\u201d throughout his life, \u201cmany times in movies and martial arts.\u201d<\/p>\n
He recalled ignoring signs from his body in order to complete stunts, but says he now knows he has \u201cto be kind to myself, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally,\u201d and in addition to getting proper rest and\u00a0eating right, he has to \u201cgive myself credit for what I\u2019ve done.\u201d<\/p>\n

One thing he can give himself credit for is his role in \u201cRocky IV,\u201d which celebrated its 40th anniversary in November.<\/p>\n
Looking back, Lundgren says making the movie \u201cwas a great experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was scary and exciting at the same time, tremendous. It changed my life. I walked into a theater, you know, being but virtually unknown, and 90 minutes later I walked out and everybody was taking pictures of me like this. It took me about five years to recover. So I think, yeah, on all levels it was a great experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lundgren spoke with Fox News Digital about his new vodka brand, Hard Cut Vodka, comparing the spirit to an action star, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s hard on the outside and kind of soft and mushy on the inside.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI really want people to taste it \u2019cause it tastes so much better,\u201d he said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t have that harsh taste in the back of your throat like a lot of the other vodkas do. It\u2019s very smooth, even though it\u2019s 90 proof, so it\u2019s 45% alcohol. So it has a nice bite to it. So I think the main thing is we have a great product, everybody loves it. And then I think the presentation is a little tougher. It\u2019s a little more bada\u2013 than the other vodkas.\u201d<\/p>\n
The movie star launched the vodka brand in March 2025.<\/p>\n

When speaking about the brand, Krokdal said she wants people to feel \u201ca bit nostalgic\u201d when they drink it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know how I feel when I drink it. It\u2019s a different feeling than drinking other vodkas or other liquors, where I feel more like down,\u201d she said. \u201cIt gives you a nice energy, it gives you a little bit of a kick. And I always have fun when I have a drink or two. You don\u2019t have to drink that much because it\u2019s 90 proof. So it\u2019s a little stronger, but it\u2019s very smooth. So it\u2019s a nice drink. It tastes really good as well. So you can enjoy it, and it gives you a little bit of an upper, like an up feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n
In addition to changing his career, getting to work on the film also led him to finding a friend in\u00a0Sylvester Stallone,<\/a> who Lundgren says he \u201cwas obviously looking up to\u201d while making the movie.<\/p>\n\u201cHe was my boss. I did what he told me to, hit him when he told me to,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think in the beginning, it was more professional and slowly developed to friendship where you know, we kind of appreciate each other\u2019s struggles.\u201d<\/p>\n
