King Charles met with Prince Harry for the first time since February 2024 on Wednesday, a meeting that took place during the former working royal’s visit from California. The 40-year-old travelled to his home country earlier this week to conduct a host of charitable engagements in the UK.

Harry did not make time to see his brother or sister-in-law during his UK trip, but did travel to Clarence House for a 54-minute meeting with the King. In a poll conducted by the Express, which ran between 5.50pm on September 10 and 3.10pm on September 11, royal fans were asked it was the right decision for King Charles to meet his youngest son.

In a blistering result, 5,990 [68 percent] of the 8,820 people who voted shared that it was the wrong decision.

In contrast, 2,436 people [28 percent] shared that it was right that the King took time to see his son.

Unsure of what they made of the meeting, 394 people [4 percent] voted that they ‘don’t know’ if it was the right or wrong decision.

Taking to the comment section, one fan commented: “Harry is not to be trusted, he has proved that time and again. I hope Charles had someone in the room with them…”

Another said: “As a father yes, but as the King of the UK NO.”

Clearly having voted ‘yes’, another fan said that the meeting was right in terms of it being a father seeing his son.

They wrote: “Only as his father. Harry cannot under any circumstances return to royal duties.”

Agreeing with the above fan, another commented: “I vote NO as the question indicated King Charles. If the question indicated Charles I would have voted YES.”

King Charles met with Prince Harry for the first time since February 2024 on Wednesday, a meeting that…

[8
156,11061,21034,111,139,69,3578,21033,3583,15857,3164
post-19883","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-entertainment","tag-king-charles-iii","tag-king-charles-latest","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-prince-harry","tag-prince-harry-king-charles","tag-prince-harry-latest","tag-prince-harry-uk","tag-royal-family
["GET
