The app is designed to help users plan road trips and explore more than 250 historic, cultural, and recreational destinations across the country in celebration of the United States\u2019 250th anniversary in 2026. The app also allows users to build themed travel routes and track visits using digital markers.\n<\/p>\n<p>Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said, \u201cIn partnership with GM, I\u2019m thrilled to launch Explore250 to encourage every American to plan an unforgettable journey and celebrate our nation\u2019s 250th birthday. This innovative app will help families map out their routes, uncover hidden gems, and connect with the rich tapestry of our proud history\u2014all from the driver\u2019s seat.
