\n PureGym, in Gastons Wood Retail Park, opened to the public at 12pm on Friday, December 19.\n<\/p>\n
\n Members have access to the gym 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through PureGym’s low-cost, zero-contract memberships.\n<\/p>\n
\n The gym, which covers approximately 19,400 square feet, is equipped with hundreds of pieces of equipment.\n<\/p>\n

\n It also has a functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance and cardio equipment, a fitness studio, and a cycle studio.\n<\/p>\n
\n A women’s workout space, replete with adjustable benches, dumbbells, a sled track, and a mix of upper and lower body-focused fixed pin equipment, is also part of the facility’s offer.\n<\/p>\n
\n PureGym Basingstoke also offers a range of classes included in the membership price.\n<\/p>\n
\n Certified personal trainers are available to assist members, and a free initial exercise induction is also provided.\n<\/p>\n
\n The new gym brings around 12 new jobs to the local community.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for PureGym said: “Following sustained demand for PureGym’s flexible, affordable offering in Hampshire, we’re delighted to be opening a brand new gym in Basingstoke.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our newest gym will support members to enhance their mental and physical wellbeing by providing them with around-the-clock access to first-class fitness facilities, from top-quality equipment and energising group classes to expert PT support, all included in our low-cost, no-contract memberships.”\n<\/p>\n
\n PureGym is committed to providing a safe space for everyone to work out and has installed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in all of its gyms as part of their TrainSafe commitment.\n<\/p>\n
\n These AEDs can be lifesaving in a critical situation.\n<\/p>\n
\n The company is working with the British Heart Foundation to improve heart health across the nation.\n<\/p>\n
\n Parking is free for gym-goers, but restrictions may apply.\n<\/p>\n
