{"id":206643,"date":"2025-12-29T12:10:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T12:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/206643\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T12:10:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T12:10:08","slug":"jack-perkins-hints-at-exit-from-seven-network-broadcast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/206643\/","title":{"rendered":"Jack Perkins hints at exit from Seven Network broadcast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANOTHER big name could be on the way out of the Supercars broadcast landscape, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-48-Jack-Perkins\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jack Perkins<\/a> appearing to sign off from his Seven Network role.<\/p>\n<p>The race-winning veteran has been a popular figure on TV screens, for his ability to unpack technical and racing elements to give free-to-air viewers a deeper understanding of what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n<p>Perkins took to social media today to thank Seven for his half-decade on-screen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat marks 5 years with @7sportau,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been an amazing time learning how to do TV and working with some awesome people.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/1-18-scale-1990-bathurst-1000-11-holden-commodore-vl-l-perkins-mezera-model?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/18870_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOften been well out of my comfort zone but really enjoyed the challenge of live tv and hosting tv shows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHave to thank Anna Stone and James Warburton for giving me a chance back in 2021 and all of the producers, camera crew, behind the scenes crew etc along the way.
