The screen has white writing on reading &quot;Welcome to the NHS app&quot;.\" class=\"sc-5340b511-0 hLdNfA\"\/>Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>More than 4 million people in the South East used the NHS app between December 2024 and November 2025<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">More people than ever across the South East are using the NHS app to manage their health, new figures show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">About 4.36 million people in the region used the NHS app between December 2024 and November 2025, up from 3.71 million the previous year, according to NHS England South East.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The region is one of the highest adopters of the app nationally, it added, with statistics showing a sharp rise in logins ahead of the busy Christmas period.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Dr Christopher Tibbs, medical director for the NHS in the South East, said:  &#8220;The app offers a simple, reliable way to manage your health from home.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">On Christmas Day last year, more than 52,500 people in the South East logged into the NHS app.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The app allows patients to check prescriptions, view test results, and get health advice, as well as manage GP appointments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">NHS England South East is encouraging people to make the most of the app again this Christmas to help them stay well and avoid unnecessary trips to busy services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Over the last 12 months in the South East, 417,623 people used the app to book or cancel GP appointments, managing a total of 833,916 appointments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">More than 12 million repeat prescriptions were processed digitally across the region by 1.78 million people. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">With many GP practices and pharmacies operating different hours over the festive period, the NHS is reminding people that the app offers a quick and convenient way to stay on top of their health needs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Dr Tibbs said: &#8220;These figures show just how important the NHS app has become for people across the South East &#8211; even on Christmas Day.
