“Malcolm in the Middle” is on the way back, and now we have an official date for the premiere of the reboot of the popular early 2000s sitcom.<\/p>\n
Hulu announced Monday that \u201cMalcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair,” will debut on the platform in the spring, almost 20 years to the day that the original show went off FOX airwaves.<\/p>\n

“Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” will debut on Hulu on April 10, 2026. Subscribers will be able to watch the four-part reunion series on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, says Cord Cutters News<\/a>.<\/p>\n The final episode of “Malcolm in the Middle” aired on FOX on May 14, 2006. The show ran for seven seasons and 151 episodes after premiering in January 2000.<\/p>\n Who is starring in ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair’?<\/p>\n Most of the original cast members are back, including Frankie Muniz<\/a> as Malcolm, the child prodigy who is now all grown up. His parents Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) and Hal (Bryan Cranston) will also reprise their roles, as will Christopher Kennedy Masterson and Justin Berfield, who played Malcolm’s siblings Francis and Reese.<\/p>\n However, Erik Per Sullivan, who played brother Dewey, won’t be appearing in the reunion series. He has a good excuse though.<\/p>\n Why isn’t Erik Per Sullivan part of the ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ reboot?<\/p>\n Per Sullivan, 34, will be replaced by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark. Instead of appearing in the series, the Worcester, Massachusetts native is focusing <\/a>on pursuing his masters degree at Harvard University.<\/p>\n \u201dI talked to Erik and I said, \u2018Hey, we got the show! It\u2019s gonna come back,\u2019\u201d Cranston said<\/a> back in June. \u201cHe goes, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s fantastic!\u2019 And I go, \u2018Yeah, so we\u2019re looking forward to having you back.\u2019 He goes, \u2018Oh, no, no, I don\u2019t want to do it. But it\u2019s fantastic that you are.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n “He\u2019s actually going to Harvard. He\u2019s really, really smart, and I think he\u2019s getting his master\u2019s at Harvard right now,” Cranston continued. “He said, \u2018Oh God, no, I haven\u2019t acted since I was nine or something. So I\u2019m not into it.\u2019\u2026It\u2019s amazing how these boys\u2014who were my boys on that show\u2014are now around the same age I was when we first started.
