He shared them in an Instagram post on 29 December.<\/p>\n<p>    1. Eat less<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou need to eat less,\u201d stated Raj. \u201cNot too less, you don&#8217;t have to deprive yourself. But you need to make sure you&#8217;re not overeating consistently.\u201d According to the trainer, this is something that most of us regularly do and therefore, something that should always be on our minds.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Eat well<\/p>\n<p>Eating well, Raj explained, means that we should be having more nutrient-rich foods such as <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/10-top-whey-protein-powders-for-beginners-on-amazon-to-gain-muscle-boost-strength-and-stay-fit-december-2025-101766391445668.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"protein\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">protein<\/a> and vegetables, and fewer foods that are empty, such as sugary, fried and starchy foods.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Exercise regularly<\/p>\n<p>We should be exercising at least three days a week, and ideally five to six days a week. It does not matter how hard we train or how exactly we <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/fitness-coach-says-cardio-alone-isn-t-enough-shares-1-exercise-women-over-35-must-do-to-stay-strong-and-healthy-101765867481450.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"exercise\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">exercise<\/a>, but there should be a minimum of two days of strength training every week.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Move often<\/p>\n<p>We should move often, not as part of any exercise but rather just regular walking throughout the day. According to Raj, we should aim for a minimum of 6000 steps per day, and ideally 8000 steps or more.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Sleep more<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost of us don&#8217;t sleep enough,\u201d noted Raj. \u201cJust going to bed about 20-30 minutes early every night will help you to do this, but make sure you\u2019re getting at least six hours, ideally seven hours of sleep every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> 6. Manage stress<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of us have stress.
