THE man behind the V8 Sleuth brand quietly collected a significant slice of recognition in 2025.<\/p>\n

That is, V8 Sleuth founder and managing director Aaron Noonan was inducted into the Supercars Media Association\u2019s Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

The SMA HoF was launched in 2012 with five inaugural inductees: Ray Berghouse, Jon Evans, Will Hagon, Barry Oliver and John Stoneham.<\/p>\n

A number of high-profile individuals have since been added, such as Mike Kable, Neil Crompton<\/a>, Mike Raymond, Tim Pemberton and Garry Wilkinson.<\/p>\n

Noonan started out as a Ballarat kid with a motorsport show on community radio; he then joined Motorsport News while still at high school before going full-time in 2000.<\/p>\n

Various public relations gigs, including for Porsche Carrera Cup Australia and Holden Motorsport\/Kmart Racing, preceded an eight-year television stint (2007-14) with Supercars Media and Channel 7.<\/p>\n

Along the way, he started the V8 Sleuth platform in 2012\/13 initially as a means to track chassis histories.<\/p>\n

It has since evolved into a major content platform comprising daily news, feature items, podcasts, books and now a magazine.<\/p>\n
