(City of Calgary )<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to reassure Calgarians that we have an incredible team of first responders, frontline staff who have been working around the clock,\u201d Farkas said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the city\u2019s focus in the immediate aftermath of the main break was around public safety, adding that around 2,000 homes and 100 businesses have been affected.<\/p>\n<p>But he said there are also \u201cbigger picture\u201d challenges that need to be addressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not the first time that this has happened \u2014 I think Calgarians are going to be asking a lot of questions,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we&#8217;re going to be pushing hard to make sure that the immediate issues are mitigated.
