But also, maybe, yes? \u201cI didn\u2019t even try. But I will next time,\u201d he said. \u201cShe was on my playlist for when I wrote. She was on my playlist for sure, and I will definitely be asking next time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.vulture.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmjueb4ix00153b7b0p6ogtzb@published\" data-word-count=\"116\">Tierney said a CRJ track wasn\u2019t in the budget for Heated Rivalry season 1. But now that all eyes are on the boy aquarium, perhaps there\u2019s even cash for a new song from Jepsen. \u201cI was even gonna ask her to write a new song, that\u2019s what I was gonna do,\u201d he said. \u201cI was gonna be like, \u2018Is there a world in which you\u2019d like to do a new song?\u2019\u201d Timing might also have been a factor, as Jepsen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/article\/carly-rae-jepsen-cole-mgn-wedding-chelsea-hotel.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">got married this year<\/a> and is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/article\/carly-rae-jepsen-pregnant-with-first-child.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">currently pregnant<\/a>.
