Perry played the role of Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom series Friends, which premiered in 1994.

He remained close with co-stars David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow after the show’s decade-long run.

He was found dead in his Los Angeles home in 2023 after a years-long battle with depression and addiction.

Last month, Dr Salvador Plasencia was sentenced to 30 months in prison for supplying Perry with ketamine in the weeks before his death.

Plasencia was one of five people charged following a federal investigation into how the late actor was able to obtain the drug through an underground Hollywood ring, according to the BBC.

Perry’s family reportedly urged the judge for an extended sentence, labelling Plasencia as the “most culpable” after he admitted to injecting Perry with ketamine “without a legitimate medical purpose“.

“No one alive and in touch with the world at all could have been unaware of Matthew’s struggles,” Perry’s mother Suzanne Morrison wrote in her victim impact statement.

Perry’s Friends co-stars participated in a fundraiser last month to honour him on the second anniversary of his death.

Page Six reported that the actors each signed limited edition artworks by Tim Wakefield that were sold at auction to benefit the Matthew Perry Foundation.

The foundation seeks to support people struggling with addiction by networking, fighting stigma, and championing treatment.

The Hollywood Graveyard Instagram post was captioned: “The crypt of Matthew Perry has been marked at Forest Lawn…

[8
3376,74,1558,634,3401,156,11784,1445,15978,3369,19872,111,139,69,828,3377,128345,2737,43211,128346,1237,1530
post-211130","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-actor","tag-after","tag-been","tag-death","tag-drug","tag-entertainment","tag-fatal","tag-friends","tag-installed","tag-matthew","tag-memorial","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-overdose","tag-perry","tag-plaque","tag-star","tag-suffering","tag-tomb","tag-two","tag-years
["GET
