After Nicki Minaj went full MAGA by appearing with Erika Kirk at Turning Point USA’s recent convention, fans have turned against her. She’s disappeared from social media after losing millions of followers almost immediately. And now, a petition to have her deported to her native Trinidad has gathered more than 70,000 signatures in the US, according to TMZ. She is not a US citizen.

Former fans Nicki MAGAJ (her new nickname) and her husband Kenneth Perry (and honest-to-god registered sex offender) have turned on her in a big way. This is from the petition:

“Nicki Minaj’s actions and words have taken a turn that has left many of her supporters and those who once found solace in her music feeling deeply betrayed. Once a voice for the LGBTQ+ community, she has now flipped her stance, asserting outdated and harmful notions such as “boys should just be boys.” These statements aren’t just insensitive; they undermine the very foundations of a community that looked up to her for advocacy and understanding.

“This is personal for those of us who watched Nicki rise as a beacon of hope, only to feel abandoned by her shift in values. Her public platform carries weight and responsibility, and her recent statements are a stark contrast to the solidarity she once showed, leaving many feeling deflated and disillusioned. Furthermore, Nicki’s status in the United States is not based on citizenship, which raises questions about her continued presence here despite her divisive actions and statements.

“Deporting Nicki Minaj back to Trinidad would serve as a reminder that public figures need to be accountable for their words and the broader impact they have on diverse communities. It’s not just about one person’s fall from grace; it’s about holding everyone to a standard of compassion and consistency, especially when they possess significant influence.”

The petition was started by someone named “Pedonika Minaj,” who is suspected of being one of her die-hard fans.

After Nicki Minaj went full MAGA by appearing with Erika Kirk at Turning Point USA’s recent convention, fans…

[32
430,5033,156,111,139,29698,69,128,99760
post-212020","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-celebrities","tag-celebrities","tag-deportation","tag-entertainment","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nicki-minaj","tag-nz","tag-petition","tag-turning-point-usa
["GET
