Back in 2023<\/a>, Lionsgate had mentioned in an earnings call about expanding the John Wick universe by venturing into video games. Now, in a new earnings call, it\u2019s been revealed that not only is a John Wick video game possibly in development, but also a new Saw video game.<\/p>\n

During a recent Q2 2026 earnings call (which was transcribed by Seeking Alpha<\/a>), Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chairman Adam Fogelson mentioned that there is \u201cincreased interest and increased opportunity\u201d to make new AAA games based on Lionsgate IPs. Fogelson specifically mentioned two IPs being John Wick and Saw.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur AAA game opportunities and other gaming opportunities around John Wick and Saw and some others that we\u2019ll be announcing soon, we\u2019re seeing increased interest and increased opportunity, and we remain on schedule. So I think in totality, you are going to see a meaningfully additive financial opportunity coming in the coming years.\u201d<\/p>\n

To be fair, Fogelson wasn\u2019t specific in regards to which of these and other properties (such as other Lionsgate horror properties like Blair Witch and American Psycho) would have standalone titles, or be featured in crossover tie-ins for games such as Fortnite (though that\u2019s already happened for Saw and John Wick).<\/p>\n

Still, for Saw fans, the possibility of having a new video game after 2010\u2019s Saw II: Flesh & Blood is a big plus, particularly after that game wasn\u2019t exactly well received.
