He also added it will be visible throughout the night.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As with all astronomical objects it&#8217;s usually better to be in the middle of nowhere to limit light pollution, but the moon is pretty bright so you&#8217;ll be able to see it from cities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ridden said the moon is &#8220;hanging out near Jupiter&#8221; at the moment, so when you are looking at the supermoon, the bright star just to the south will be jupiter.<\/p>\n<p>The other two supermoons will happen later this year in November and December.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/radionz.us6.list-manage.com\/subscribe?u=211a938dcf3e634ba2427dde9&amp;id=b3d362e693\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sign up for Ng\u0101 Pitopito K\u014drero<\/a>, a daily newsletter curated by our editors and delivered straight to your inbox every weekday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A supermoon from 2025.
