Prince Harry<\/a> and King Charles<\/a>\u2019 estranged relationship has shown signs of improvement this year. Amid the talks of the Duke of Sussex\u2019s royal return, he met his father in September during his UK visit. Recently, an expert claimed that the 41-year-old could reportedly repair his dynamic with the king by visiting him \u201ctime to time\u201d or frequently contacting him.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry and King Charles met briefly this year during the duke\u2019s UK trip in September. Since the second son\u2019s royal exit, his relationship with his family turned sour. Things got ugly after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, openly criticized the royal protocols. However, last year, Harry reportedly made several efforts to amend his relationship with his father.<\/p>\n

Royal expert Jennie Bond told The Mirror<\/a> that 2026 might be a good year for the \u201cSpare\u201d author to make things right with his family. \u201cI think it\u2019s only by coming over and seeing his dad in person from time to time that the rift between them could gradually be mended,\u201d she said. According to her, Harry should try to accommodate the king\u2019s \u201cvery busy diary.\u201d Furthermore, he could also ensure that his meetings do not leak to the media.<\/p>\n

The former BBC royal correspondent further suggested that the Duke of Sussex could write letters to his father. Reportedly, King Charles considered letter writing as a good way of communication. \u201cAn apology to his father and his stepmother would also help \u2013 again, perhaps he has already done so, although I rather doubt it,\u201d Bond added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the expert hinted at a possibility of reconciliation between the monarch and his second son. But she was skeptical about Harry\u2019s relationship with his big brother, Prince William. Although the duke allegedly mentioned that he would like his sibling back in his life, the heir might think otherwise. \u201cA parent can forgive a child far more readily than siblings tend to reconcile,\u201d Bond claimed.<\/p>\n
