\u201cMy [first] dress was my dream dress,\u201d Mewis said. \u201cI saw it and knew I couldn\u2019t move forward until I tried it on, and when I did, I knew that was my wedding dress without question.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paired with her first statement dress, the bride wore Rene Caovilla shoes, encrusted with Swarovski crystals and boasting the designer\u2019s signature sculptural straps. Her flowing lacey veil, meanwhile, brought a more traditional bridal aesthetic to her look, contrasting the contemporary style of her dress.<\/p>\n
