Everyone has their secrets, and it turns out Myha\u2019la Herrold<\/a> is really good at keeping hers. The\u00a0Industry<\/a>\u00a0star married Armando Rivera, her now-husband, without telling anyone but close friends and family. She hard-launched the news on Instagram<\/a>, sharing photos from their wedding day. \u201cOne year of marriage \u267e\ufe0f\ud83d\udc8d,\u201d she wrote in the caption. \u201cSo if this is how you\u2019re finding out, promise we didn\u2019t tell most everyone \ud83d\ude17\u201d The two shared photos alongside their loved ones, including their two cats. She concluded, \u201cEndlessly grateful to our friends and family for helping make this day so very magical.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple met via Instagram DM when Rivera sent Herrold a message congratulating her on the success of the show\u2019s first season in 2020. \u201cI was alone in the pandemic. The show had dropped and I was still alone. I was getting some messages, so I was like, \u2018Let me just say thank you and be nice,\u2019\u201d Herrold explained in an interview with W Magazine<\/a> in 2023. \u201cI tried to weed out the ones that I thought were going to end up being creepy and invasive. His was one I responded to. I just said, \u2018Thank you.\u2019 The next morning, I woke up to this string of video messages, and I thought, \u2018Damn it, I knew it was going to be creepy.\u2019 But I went back to his profile, and I was like, \u2018Oh, maybe he\u2019s cute. He seems relatively harmless.\u2019\u201d In the video messages he sent her, Rivera asked if he could interview Herrold for his journalism class, as their final project was to interview a celebrity, which eventually led to a 40-minute chat. It marked the beginning of their romance and, hopefully, got Rivera an A+.<\/p>\n Related<\/p>\n
