Cher<\/a> and Kristen Bell<\/a> are reflecting on their cult classic 2010 film Burlesque.<\/p>\n

The 79-year-old singing legend visited Dax Shepard<\/a> on the Monday (January 5) episode of his podcast Armchair Expert<\/a> to discuss her career. Dax\u2018s wife and Cher\u2018s Burlesque co-star Kristen also joined for the episode.<\/p>\n

In the film, Cher played Tess Scali, owner of the burlesque club, while Kristen played one of the main performers Ali. Christina Aguilera<\/a> starred as newcomer Ali.<\/p>\n

Thinking back on Burlesque, Cher alluded to drama that occurred on set that prevented the film from being \u201ca really good fun movie\u201d if it weren\u2019t for \u201cyou-know who. Except for both of them.\u201d <\/p>\n

She and the Nobody Wants This<\/a> star immediately clarified they weren\u2019t referring to the other cast members, which included Cam Gigandet<\/a>, Eric Dane<\/a>, Julianne Hough<\/a>, Alan Cumming<\/a>, Stanley Tucci<\/a>, and Peter Gallagher<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a hard shoot. It was hard,\u201d Kristen said. <\/p>\n

Dax and Kristen were engaged when they filmed the movie and he chimed in, \u201cWhat I think I can say, not being involved with it, was there was a romantic relationship happening for people that were very high above.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that was playing out on set quite frequently and dramatically and uniquely to anyone that\u2019s been in show business,\u201d Dax added.<\/p>\n

Cher agreed with Dax\u2018s comments and said, \u201cThere was another thing that I cannot mention, but I can\u2019t mention it.\u201d <\/p>\n

According to her, there was a higher-up on the film who wanted to cut her song, \u201cYou Haven\u2019t Seen the Last of Me,\u201d saying, \u201cI\u2019m cutting that song out cuz I don\u2019t want Cher to ruin my movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kristen said that there had been \u201ca lot of drama\u201d on that set and to get through she would often \u201cfind someone to hold hands with in the corner and just laugh at everything.\u201d So she was often doing that with Cher herself or Stanley Tucci, who played Cher\u2018s assistant, Sean, in the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Stanley,\u201d Cher said. <\/p>\n

Kristen, Cher, and Dax all declined to name names specifically, but The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> previously shared an article highlighting the relationship between the film\u2019s director Steve Antin and Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper, who were a couple at the time.<\/p>\n

The report alleged that the two had \u201cjaw-dropping\u201d clashes on set, including an instance when Clint supposedly poured ice tea on Steve\u2018s head, among other alleged incidents.<\/p>\n
