The update went wide yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The vast majority of Pixel users are on the \u201cNovember 1, 2025\u201d Google Play system update. (There was no December update.) In the case of our Pixel 10 Pro, the screen remained black after the boot sequence \u2014 which felt longer than usual \u2014 completed. However, we still felt haptic feedback when long-pressing the power button.\u00a0Functionality returned to normal after plugging in to power, but performing a reboot would have been the other solution:<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>If your phone\u00a0is frozen with the screen on, hold down the power button for about 30 seconds to restart.<\/p>\n<p>With a Pixel 10, we were able to unlock with a passcode as usual, but the Pixel Launcher did not fully load. As such, we were stuck with just seeing the wallpaper and no other system UI, including the status bar. However, we were able to long-press for the power menu and reboot.
