Veteran French house DJ Fran\u00e7ois K has been confirmed as a replacement for the February 20-22 event.<\/p>\n

Splore event director John Minty told RNZ the withdrawal was because of \u201clogistical reasons\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a social media post today, Electric Avenue organisers confirmed the group would also no longer be appearing at Christchurch\u2019s Hagley Park \u201cdue to circumstances outside of our control\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re already working on an exciting replacement and will share an update very shortly. Thanks for your understanding, and we can\u2019t wait to see you in February.\u201d<\/p>\n

Splore festival organisers have confirmed next month\u2019s event would be its last<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Electric Avenue will be held on February 27-28.<\/p>\n
