The couple separated after a decade of marriage and officially divorced three years later in 2018.<\/p>\n

Garner told the magazine she leaned on close friends to help her cope.<\/p>\n
\u201cI make a big, concerted effort to see my people as much as I can, because that\u2019s what matters,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s where your resilience is, it\u2019s in your relationships and in the people who carry you through.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s important for women to know, when they think, \u2018Oh, I\u2019ll never see that, I\u2019ll never have that feeling, I\u2019ll never be friends with this person again\u2019, [that] time is the opportunity to heal.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to People, the former couple remain close and are active co-parents to their three children, daughters Violet, 20, and Seraphina, 17, and son Samuel, 13.<\/p>\n
She described co-parenting while in the public eye as \u201cthe hardest thing\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot hard in the grand scheme of what is hard in the world, but tricky for me and tricky for my family,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

She said her children had always been her priority over her career.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt never felt like a sacrifice. It was really hard to go to work and it definitely shaped the jobs I chose, in a big way,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
News.com.au reported Garner supported Affleck after his 2024 divorce from Jennifer Lopez, with the pair seen spending time together with their children, including over Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
